About
Praxis is a small web app for organising research around the hypothesis as the central unit of work. Most note-taking tools are built for documents or tasks. A research project is neither. It moves between several hypotheses that share a parent project, each one tested by a sequence of experiments and supported by a small set of reference papers. Praxis models exactly that shape, without trying to be a generic knowledge base or a lab information management system. The stack is deliberately small. Plain PHP 8 with no framework on the backend, server-rendered HTML with a bit of vanilla JavaScript on the frontend, PostgreSQL on Supabase for storage, and Vercel's vercel-php runtime for deployment.
